Ling Ling

This is a photo of Ling Ling taken on February 19, 2005, the day after his 17th birthday. He is keeping the seat of the chair I use when working at the computer warm for me.

He often crosses his paws while resting.

Ling Ling in a quiet moment.

He likes to snuggle under the wool blankets on my bed.

He doesn't consider it my bed though, just try to make it or change the sheets when he wants to take a cat nap.

This morning I discovered a lot of hits from a Spanish language site in my Apache logs. It contained link to a photo I took of Ling sleeping June 26, 2002.

It just breaks Basel's heart when Ling Ling won't let her be his friend.

I was a bit worried about stress from visiting dogs with Ling being a geriatric cat and all. Although he snarls, spits, and growls at them, when I pick him up he is relaxed and often purring. He seems to like bossing them around and misses them when they are gone. It's a cat thing.
