She was born into a family of large, fluffy grey cats who lived with my next door neighbors in Champaign IL. She adopted me when she was about 6 weeks old ending a "petless" spell that had lasted beyond college and graduate school.
She was dignified, soft in voice but sharp of claw. The Kitty was a traveling companion in car trips ranging from the Rockies to the East Coast, including camping outdoors.
She ended her days at my parent's farm in PA.
