Middle Eastern-Style Beef Stew
Ingredients

Directions
Separate beef chunks or cut up chuck steak into cubes
Place beef into bottom of slow cooker or dutch oven
Spread remaining ingredients over beef and cook on low for about 4 hours (slow cooker) or until meat is tender (less time for dutch oven).
taste and adjust salt
add chili powder if desired
Serve over steamed rice, pasta, egg noodles, or boiled potatoes.
