Mac OS X

I installed OS X on my G4 machine at the end of June 2001 and have been enjoying it immensely. To get the most out of it:

• install the Developer's CD
• enable root
• use packages to install UNIX software (easier than using make)
• haunt the Apple OS X web site
• find alternatives to the on-line help
